My daughter Jayden BEGGED me to take her to see Doja Cat bring The Scarlet Tour to Tampa and I was happy to oblige. This was a very controversial tour and album for Doja because of the right-wing religious nuts, who we actually wound up in a shouting match with on the way in to the venue as they accosted us with bullhorns. Moving on…the show was really good, Doja has a ton of hits that kept the energy and vibe at the peak all night. The opening act, Doechii, was on the come-up and has since dropped a Grammy-winning debut album, Alligator Bites Never Heal. From beginning to end, the concert was an R&B blast!
