I cannot say it enough – Deftones are the best metal band around and far and away the band I’ve seen live the most times. They were touring to support their 7th studio album, Koi No Yokan. I love Jannus – it has to be my 2nd favorite venue behind House Of Blues. I love the outdoor courtyard setting while still surrounded on all sides by large buildings…it gives the evening an open yet intimate feel. Deftones were firing on all cylinders – Chino sounded glorious. The opening band was Periphery who are a decent math metal style hardcore band. Deftones setlist can be found HERE.
