Fair warning…I was a huge Matchbox 20 fan for about 2 years. I can’t explain it now, but it seemed right at the time. This was the first of three Matchbox 20 shows I would see on this very same tour following their hugely popular album Yourself Or Someone Like You. It was my first time at the Center for Performing Arts and it may be small (1700 seats) but had great acoustics. Cool For August opened and Mary went with me.
