The Black Crowes are one of my favorite non-metal bands, period. They are always phenomenal live! This was during the Amorica Or Bust tour following the Amorica album, my personal favorite Crowes album. The Black Crowes have always encouraged the fans to record their shows and I was able to record this concert and still have the tape. It may sound like crap, but having a copy of the show you yourself were at? Color me geeked out. The opening band was the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Mary went to the show with me. It was the first of many times I would see the Crowes live and every single one of them were great.
