This was during the years when Motley Crue were falling apart. Vince was fired/quit and was replaced for John Corabi for one album and one tour only before Vince rejoined the band. Mary and I went, and King’s X opened (thanks JC). Tommy Lee didn’t have a blown up drum solo on this tour. Instead, they stopped the concert in the middle, turned on the house lights and did an acoustic session while allowing several audience members to come onstage for the acoustic set duration. They did change back to electric to close out the show.
I was also at this show. 4th row center. King’s X opened. Awesome show from start to finish.
