Night Of Joy was an event Disney put on to promote Christian Rock bands. I went with several kids from church to see Stryper, the headline act, and of course to ride rides. This was right after the To Hell With The Devil album when they were at the top of their career. Robert Sweet, the drummer – also known as “The Visual Timekeeper”, was always one of my favorite drummers to watch live back then. He was all over the place and turned his kit sideways so you could see him playing from the side view rather than hidden behind the kit. You can check out a solo HERE if you are interested.
